Apple has released a significant update to the iWork suite of app for both iOS and macOS. The update to Keynote, Numbers, and Pages was not unexpected. When the iPad Air and iPad mini were released last week, Apple announced that a new version of the apps would be coming with a specific focus on the tablet experience and the Apple Pencil.
For example, in Keynote, you can use the Apple Pencil (or your finger) to draw in a direction to animate an object on a slide. The other iWork apps, Numbers and Pages, don’t necessarily do anything special with the Apple Pencil but clearly you can use it with these apps for precise cell or text selection.
